    Pakistan makes progress on FATF all 27 points

    Pakistan has made significant progress on the points of the FATF Action Plan, Pakistan has made clear progress on all 27 points of the FATF, which will pave the way for Pakistan to exit the gray list this month.

    Pakistan has compiled a clear progress report on all 27 points of the FATF and sent it to the FATF, which will hold a virtual plenary meeting of the FATF from February 22 to 24. I will review and decide whether to keep Pakistan on the gray list or not.

    Pakistan has made great strides in anti-money laundering and anti-terror financing. Pakistan has completed legislation in these areas while legal action has also been taken against banned terrorist organizations.

    It may be recalled that in June 2018, FATF had added Pakistan to its gray list and had given Pakistan till October 2019 to take necessary steps to get out of the gray list.
