The Punjab government has decided to include the land liberated from the occupation mafia in the New Pakistan Housing and Billion Tree project.
According to the report of the news agency, this decision has been taken by the government to save the land from the grip of the re-occupation mafia.
According to anti-corruption, the government has redeemed 144,439 acres of land from the occupation mafia in a period of two and a half years, out of which more than 142,000 acres were rural.
The value of the relinquished land is said to be more than Rs 425 billion.
