Kovind assumes office: Ritual Raisina splendour marks handover

Pomp and ceremony marked the moment as Ram Nath Kovind took over as President from Pranab Mukherjee on Tuesday. The day started with the military secretary to the President inviting the Presidentelect and his wife to Rashtrapati Bhavan, where Mukherjee was waiting for them in the study.
