An RJD functionary said that Tejashwi's resignation would demoralise the party cadres as that could lead to a perception that the party's first family was in the wrong. The party prefers to wait for CM Nitish Kumar to sack Tejashwi, which would be followed by mass resignations of RJD ministers.
