The founder and CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg has confirmed that Facebook was attacked.
He has said in his Facebook status update that some 50 million users might have been affected by this attack.
Here is what he said:
Although Zuck has assured that they’ve taken care of it but here are a few things you can do to protect your Facebook account:
- Change your password and use a stronger one.
- Log out of all other devices
- Turn your two-factor authentication on (SMS confirmation code)
