IHC exposes false claims of Maryam Nawaz -Details

• IHC mentioned the reason for the rejection of the three-time Nawaz Sharif’s plea to grant him bail.
• IHC maintained that the opinion of private doctors could not be regarded as final.
• Maryam Nawaz blamed Punjab Government for not concerning Nawaz’s health and says that Pakistani doctors are under Iran Khan’s pressure.

IHC issued its detailed order mentioning the reason for its rejection of the three-time Nawaz Sharif’s plea to grant him bail in view of his deteriorating health condition.

Justice Amir Farooq and JustriceMohsinAkhtarKiani heard the case. In the seven-page detailed verdict, the court maintained that the opinion of private doctors could not be regarded as final. Medical facilities were being provided to Nawaz at KotLakhpat Jail and hence the bail could not be granted on medical grounds.

“Nawaz Sharif’s request for bail on the medical ground is not on merit and hence is being rejected,” said the order.

Maryam Nawaz was blaming the Punjab Government for not concerning Nawaz’s health but the hearing has denied it and called labeled Maryam a liar.

Every Thursday Maryam posts a tweet saying that only five people are allowed to meet Nawaz Sharif in the jail. She should know that Nawaz is not a free citizen now and there are so many people in the jails who are not allowed to meet their family members. Nawaz should follow the rules according to the constitution as he is not a guest in the jail rather he is an offender.

Khawaja Haris, Nawaz’s lawyer said that Nawaz Sharif’s treatment is only possible in London. Whereas, Maryam Nawaz recently in her press conference said:

“Who say that Nawaz’s treatment is not possible in Pakistan? It is possible but Pakistani doctors are not even trying to check him.”

She said that Pakistani doctors are under Imran Khan’s pressure and he is not allowing them to consult Nawaz Sharif.

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has also requested the IHC to throw out a petition filed by Nawaz Sharif seeking his release from prison on medical grounds.

Earlier, Nawaz Sharif had returned to KotLakhpat Jail upon the expiry of a six-week bail granted to him by the Supreme Court on medical grounds.
