Rana Sana Ullah has have been caught in a very dirty and malicious allegation. Let the court handle this matter and whoever strives to give it a political hue, he should also be caught.
Mubasher said that opposition parties should handle the matter to law and court, not every institute works for personal vendetta.
Rana Sana ullah’s Arrest:
Punjab Former Law Minister and senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Rana Sana Ullah has been arrested in an alleged drugs-related case.
He has been arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), Lahore when Brigadier Hameed Dogar, the Lahore ANF Commander, was looking after the Special Investigation Cell’s operations, which led to RanaSanaullah’s arrest from near Sukheke while traveling from Faisalabad to Lahore on 1st July, Monday.
Drugs were recovered from Rana’s car however, the quantity and type of drugs recovered are still being assessed.
The alleged front-men who were earlier arrested by the ANF three months back, told that they were allegedly raising funds through narcotics businesses for Rana Sana Ullah, and those funds were later being funneled to proscribed organizations.
Opposition and Family sources denied the allegations:
The family sources of RanaSanaullah have denied the allegations and terming it a deliberate move to malign the vocal politician.

His family also said that ANF formed a baseless case against RanaSanaullah on the order of the federal government.
PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif said:
“RanaSanaullah’s arrest is the worst example of lawlessness and has exposed the personal vendetta of PM Imran Khan. PM has set an example of using national institutions against political opponents.”
Maryam Aurangzaib was also not aware of the reasons led to Rana Sana’s arrest, she said:
“We want to know the reasons involving Rana Sana in this fake case of ANF.”
PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz called the arrest ‘absurd’, she accused Prime Minister Imran Khan of being directly behind his arrest. She said that RanaSanaullah was arrested for his bold and courageous stance.
Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) leader Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, said the PML-N leader’s arrest is a desperate attempt at political victimization.
The opposition should trust law and courts:
MubasherLuqmansaid opposition parties should trust in law and courts in order to run the systems in the country. However, they shouldn’t go against their constitution.
Just because anything said on the floor of the house cannot be challenged in any court, opposition parties cannot talk against Army and constitution, he added.
Rana Sana Ullah should have been arrested during Panama Case when he used inappropriate language against judges of Pakistan, Mubasher said.
The opposition should stop giving opinions – Mubasher Luqman:
Mubasher said opposition parties should hand over this matter to the law and let the courts and law take its own course.
The opposition thinks whoever is being arrested by NAB or any other organization, is only because of government and its orders.
This is not true, as some government ministers are too, under investigations and this is not one party, these are organizations and institutes and they work without any pressure of the government.
None of us thinks from where these drugs come – Mubasher Luqman:
There are dozens of drug businesses in the country, so many programs are telecasted against such people, many people wrote columns regarding this and various parents forum on social media also discussed this matter but not even a single drug business-person got arrested.
None of us thinks from where these drugs are coming, who owns these businesses and how they run such black businesses.
Furthermore, he said:
“If Rana is innocent, he will soon get bail and if he is not, then he should be punished as per laws and opposition should stop glorifying him and let the matter solve in court.”
Rana Sana Ullah was arrested and a case was being filed in accordance with the Control of Narcotics Substances Act, 1997. He has been arrested by the ANF which is a responsible force and works under the leadership of a serving major general.
He will be presented in a court of law where ANF will submit proofs against him while he will have to prove himself innocent.
