• PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah asked the jail authorities to provide him religious books.
• Rana Sanahullahis gave B-class facilities in the jail and kept as a normal prisoner in the jail.
• ANF has all the evidence against Rana Sanaullahand these will be presented in the court against the former minister.

Rana Sana Ullah was arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) after a large-scale crackdown on drug peddlers in Punjab.

He was sent on judicial remand to jail by the judicial magistrate. The PML-N leader was taken into custody near Seghi while heading to Lahore from Faisalabad to attend a party meeting.

The former Minister is being kept as a normal prisoner:

It was decided that the PML-N leader will be given B-class facilities in the jail and was shifted in a barrack, where other prisoners are kept.

The jail authorities said B-class facilities included a newspaper, television, bed, table, and chair, besides some other items.

A medical team examined the former minister:

Earlier, the medical team has physically examined Pakistan RanaSanaullah in the jail and different tests were carried out by the doctors.

The former minister is now asking for books:

Now, RanaSanahullahhas asked the jail authorities to provide him books. According to sources, Rana has asked for religious books.

Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s ‘If I am Assassinated’ and Benazir Bhutto’s ‘Dukhtar-e-Mashriq’, is also included in the books he has asked for.

The sources revealed that RanaSanaullah had close relations with smugglers and they had been taking shelter at his rest house.

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has all the evidence against RanaSanaullah andANF will present this evidence in the court against the former minister.

Officials of ANF had already detained other people of the network who were involved in drug trafficking. The arrest of Sanaullah concluded the matter.
