According to details, a statement issued by Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan said that they reject the decision to approve the new board of madrassas. Not the demand of the scholars but the wish of the Establishment was fulfilled. These boards will be in the same situation as Musharraf’s madrassa board. “Our ruler is an outside slave and agent,” he said.

He said that Federation of Madrassas is our organization.

Protect the madrassas responsible for the federation. Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that if the federation of madrassas could not protect the madrassas, then Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam would protect the madrassas. We will not leave the protection of madrassas at the mercy of anyone. JUI is the watchman of the madrassas.

The Federation of Arab Schools is our representative party and we will not accept any other party. He said that after consultation with religious scholars, a major decision would be taken against the government’s move.

He said that if the government does not reverse its decision, students of madrassas across the country will be on the streets. It should be noted that due to the increasing number of religious madrassas in Pakistan, the Federal Ministry of Education approved five madrassa boards and one institute.

The notification has also been issued. After the establishment of new madrassa boards, the number of representative boards of religious madrassas in Pakistan has increased to 10.

According to the notification, Ittehad-ul-Madaris-ul-Arabiya, Ittehad-ul-Madaris-ul-Islamia, Nizam-ul-Madaris Pakistan, Majma-ul-Madaris Ta’leem-ul-Kitab wal-Hukma, Wefaq-ul-Madaris-ul-Islamiyah-ul-Razaviyah have been approved. Institute status has been obtained. Religious madrassas and schools under Minhaj-ul-Quran International will now have their own board.

Nizam-ul-Madaras Pakistan will be the representative board of madrassas under the administration of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. Religious madrassas across the country will be able to join the new boards, while the credentials of these boards will be recognized on par with traditional education boards and the Higher Education Commission.

There are already five Madrassa Boards representing religious schools in Pakistan, including the Ahl-e-Sunnat Madrassas Organization of Pakistan, the Federation of Arab Madrassas of Pakistan, the Federation of Shia Madrassas of Pakistan, the Federation of Salafi Madrassas of Pakistan and the Rabita Madrassas of Islamia Pakistan. These five madrassa boards have also formed an organization called Ittehad Tanzeemat Madras Diniya.
