Noon league couldn’t explain a single thing; how money was taken out of Pakistan, how flats were bought. They presented forged documentation in court. And when all else failed; they are now trying to build narrative that everyone else is a thief too. Now I am here today with documentation because I feel answerable to my nation and I will also show you the difference between their case and mine. They have been accused of money laundering; money which was taken out of Pakistan that is highly damaging to the country. They also have case of tax evasion on them. I earned abroad and I brought funds into Pakistan. I paid taxes abroad where I was paying. My assets were not concealed as they were all declared in 2002. I am bringing this forward because I am a public figure; this nation gives us money for donations for SKMCH and Namal because they trust me with their money. This is why I want to present myself in front of the people because I have to keep their trust in me. This case that N league did against me in court; the question asked as to how the money came to buy my Bani Gala home… all the transaction details and Jemima’s transfer details have all been brought forward to the court. Then the CJ asked how the London flat was purchased; and so we presented the money trail for that as well. But some media publications are misleading the nation saying no trail was presented for my London flat. First and foremost this is the mortgage paper of the London flat which was presented to the SC. It has all the mortgage statements and the instalments that were paid subsequently until 1989. Then when asked where the money came from; I forwarded the letter of director World Series and Kerry Pecker which I played for from 1977-1979 which officially signed me up along with Asif Iqbal, Javed Miandad, Zaheer Abbas along with 50 other world class cricketers with a standard contract of 25000 dollars. He is not a random Qatari prince; he is a world-renowned figure who can simply be called up for this entire record that is present with other cricketers too. Then the official letter of Sussex County club; that my income was cut for tax at source of 33 percent! In comparison to this I asked them to give us Mushtaq Ahmed’s contract so to compare in which 70,000 was paid to Mushtaq in one year; I took this out in comparison to show how much I was paid back then as a top paid cricketer in the world. I presented Kerry Pecker World Series documentation and I presented Sussex official letter. The money I got from the Kerry Pecker contract for three years I used for down payment for the flat. The remaining was paid from Sussex earnings over the years. In addition, I was paid £190,000 for a benefit season with Sussex. If anyone wants to check my revenues and taxes paid in England, I am willing to even write a letter so you can see how much I paid. I showed how I got the apartment and then how I sold it and brought the money back and they are comparing is to the Sharifs firstly not admitting the flats were there’s, then not being able to show mortgage statements, and then being able to now show how money was taken out how to buy them. Comparing them to me who brought money back into Pakistan, who has properties only in Pakistan compared to these who have looted the country and laundered billions. My apartment was sold for 60 lakhs, and their London flats were for 600 Crores and billions more on the side and they are comparing me to them? I played cricket for the county. Call Lyndon Taylor, call Kevin Roberts, call Zaheer Abbas, Javed Miandad… we all had a standard contract. Despicable media figures like Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman your turn will come too. We will ask you how you are driving your rolls royces in London. Khawaja Asif should think and grow a conscience; to save his thieving he is attacking one of the biggest charity organisations in Pakistan. He should be ashamed; he himself has collected millions in corruption money and he’s attacking an institution that treats 70 percent of patients for free. SKMCh has audited reports; its not the Sharif family financials which show businesses in losses but earnings ascending. Khawaja Asif are the kind of people who are fed bones for money. He should be ashamed of himself for throwing unsubstantiated claims; why doesn’t he just pick people up and throw them in jail if he says it is a case of theft. Whoever works with a criminal to hide his crimes is an accomplice. All these people defending the corruption of the Sharifs are complicit in crimes; Mir Shakil-ur-Rahman using his newspaper to twist their desperate narratives is also a criminal. Maryam Nawaz has come out as the beneficiary owner of the flats; Nawaz Sharif was revealed as the marketing manager of a company in Dubai on Iqama while being the PM of Pakistan. Justice department of Dubai has confirmed that Gulf steel was in losses. And most importantly they went into the courts and they presented forged documentation of the trust deed; they have been caught in fraud in the Supreme Court of Pakistan. But they are done now; this dark night for Pakistan where the children have been left out of schools, youth unemployed… Naya Pakistan begins here, when these people will go to Adiyala Jail!” – Imran Khan
