• Government of Pakistan has approved a grant of  150 million for the purchase of Corona Vaccine.
• The purchase of Corona vaccine has been divided into phases. In the first phase, the vaccine will be purchased for health professionals and citizens over 65 years of age.

The government has approved 150 million for the purchase of the corona vaccine

The Government of Pakistan has approved a grant of  150 million for the purchase of Corona Vaccine.

A meeting of the Economic Co-ordination Committee (ECC) chaired by Hafeez Sheikh, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Finance, approved a grant of  150 million for advance booking of a possible corona vaccine.

 

The purchase of Corona vaccine has been divided into phases. In the first phase, the vaccine will be purchased for health professionals and citizens over 65 years of age.

During the meeting, a six-point agenda was considered, in which a summary of extension of repayment of loans taken from G20 countries was approved, technical supplementary grant for staff reduction in Pakistan Steel Mills was approved.

The ECC approved a technical supplementary grant of Rs. 683.3 million for the National Information Technology Board, while a technical grant of Rs. 50 crore was approved for the TVET sector development under the Prime Minister’s Special Package.
