- Pakistan Petroleum Limited have announced the great good news of discovering new oil reserves from Block Bolan in Ziarat.
- PPL said in a statement that according to preliminary results, 800 barrels of oil per day is expected to be extracted from the discovered reserves.
- Pakistan Petroleum Limited has also entered into an agreement with Attock Refinery for the sale of crude oil extracted from the newly discovered oil reserves, which will refine the crude oil extracted from Koi.
Discovery of new oil reserve
A statement has been issued by Pakistan Petroleum Limited in which they have announced the great good news of discovering new oil reserves from Block Bolan in Ziarat.
The PPL said in a statement that according to preliminary results, 800 barrels of oil per day is expected to be extracted from the discovered reserves.
Pakistan Petroleum Limited has also entered into an agreement with Attock Refinery for the sale of crude oil extracted from the newly discovered oil reserves, which will refine the crude oil extracted from Koi.
On the other hand, experts on the newly discovered oil reserves say that the discovery of new oil reserves will help meet the demand for domestic oil and the reduction in crude oil imports will also reduce the domestic import bill.
According to the news agency, Pakistan Petroleum Limited had started investigation in Block Bolan in Ziarat area of Balochistan from November 9 and Pakistan Petroleum Limited’s visit to Bolan Block One is the first discovery.
