Export of 100 million worth of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry said that Pakistan has become self-sufficient in Corona’s security equipment and now we are in a position to export these equipment abroad.
According to a report by Radio Pakistan, the Federal Minister paid tribute to the scientists, engineers and technicians and said, “When the first phase of the corona virus started, we were short of protective equipment and medical equipment, but now the situation is different.
Addressing a function to introduce the new model ventilators, Fawad Chaudhry said that Pakistan was currently exporting corona virus-related equipment worth up to 100 million.
It may be recalled that Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry had announced on June 28 that the first consignment of ventilators manufactured in Pakistan has been provided to the National Disaster Management Authority. Has joined the ranks of self-help ventilators.
The Federal Minister also paid tributes to other scientists and technicians including Pakistan Engineering Council, National Radio and Telecommunication Corporation for their efforts and hard work day and night.
