Pakistan’s pharma exports increase by 22.6% in the current financial year

Increase in export of Akstan’s pharma

In the first three months of the current financial year, exports by Pakistan pharmaceutical companies have increased by 22.6%.

Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Adviser on Trade and Investment Abdul Razzaq Dawood said in his Twitter message, “Alhamdulillah, I am happy to announce that our pharmaceutical exports have started growing at the beginning of this financial year.

Abdul Razzaq Dawood added that in the first three months of the current financial year, our exports have increased by 1.68 million, which was  55.6 million in the first three months of the last financial year.

“This is the result of the hard work of our pharmaceutical companies and their special focus on exports,” he added.

He also paid tributes to Dr. Faisal Sultan, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister and his team for their invaluable services to the pharmaceuticals sector.

In another tweet, Abdul Razzaq Dawood said, “Alhamdulillah!” In October 2020, our exports are going up. Despite the Corona epidemic, our exports have crossed  2 billion since July.

It should be noted that the textile and cement sectors have also seen an increase before this.
