Launch of ‘Insaf Medicine Card’ for providing free medicines in Punjab
The Punjab government has launched the Insaf Medicine Card to provide free medicines in the province. According to details, in a message on social networking site Twitter, Chief Minister Usman Bazdar said that the Insaf Medicine Card would be launched in Punjab today to ensure the availability of free medicines to patients suffering from diseases like Hepatitis, TB and AIDS.

اس کارڈ کے ذریعے رجسٹرڈ مریض پنجاب بھر میں موجود RHCs / THQs/ DHQs میں سے کسی بھی ہسپتال سےمفت ادویات آسانی سے حاصل کر سکیں گے

He wrote that through this card, registered patients will be able to easily avail free medicines from any of the District Headquarters Hospital, Tehsil Headquarters Hospital and Rural Health Centers across Punjab.
Earlier, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar also inaugurated the Brave Elderly Program. According to the details, under the Brave Elderly Program, people aged 65 and above will be given Rs 6,000 every three months in the form of social pension.
The Punjab government initially allocated Rs. 2 billion for the Brave Elderly program. Registration for the program will begin on November 23, 2020 and will continue for three months.
On the occasion, Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Bazdar said that the program will lead to economic rehabilitation of deserving senior citizens. The focus of all government policies is rehabilitation of backward classes.
There is a milestone towards Madinah. Usman Bazdar said that the Prime Minister envisioned the state of Madinah. We will move towards it. Achieving the state of Madinah is a long and patient task. Our elders are our responsibility.
The government has started a program for the elderly and the affected people. This is a social pension program. Initially, it has allocated Rs. 2 billion.
