• It was revealed with reference to the developed countries in the G20 that they have expressed their intention to provide debt relief to poor or developing countries due to Corona.
• In view of this program, Pakistan has signed 36 agreements with 16 countries for debt relief from May to December 2020 this year.
• From January to June 2021 next year, Pakistan is expected to receive another 80 800-900 million in debt relief.

800 million-benefit to Pakistan in the form of debt relief

Some time ago, it was revealed with reference to the developed countries in the G20 that they have expressed their intention to provide debt relief to poor or developing countries due to Corona.

In view of this program, Pakistan has signed 36 agreements with 16 countries for debt relief from May to December 2020 this year. Completion of these agreements will benefit Pakistan to the tune of  800 million.

So far, Pakistan has received  347 million from China,  128.3 million from the United States,  170 million from France and  86.1 million from Germany,14.4 million from Sweden and 80 million from Canada has taken.

Negotiations are underway with five countries for another  1 billion in relief. The five countries from which relief is being prepared at this stage include Russia, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.
It is hoped that these talks will be successful and meaningful by December 31.

Pakistan has 9 with the USA, 8 with China, 2 with Belgium, Canada, Spain, Netherlands, 2 with Germany, 2 with Australia, 1 with Finland, France, Italy, South Korea, 1 with Kuwait, Norway, Switzerland and One, one agreement has been completed with Sweden.

From January to June 2021 next year, Pakistan is expected to receive another 80 800-900 million in debt relief. The government is working hard for this too.
