The results of the PTI government’s savings scheme have begun to emerge, with the Prime Minister’s House and Office spending falling sharply.
According to the report of the news agency, government statistics have stated that in the budget of the last financial year, Rs 218 million was allocated for operating expenses out of which only Rs 46 million has been spent.
According to the report, Rs 10 million has been saved in the budget for travel and transportation, while the government has spent only Rs 1,000 out of the budget of Rs 1.5 million allocated for entertainment and gifts.
According to the report, clear savings have also been made in the budget allocated for the Prime Minister. Out of the budget of Rs 20 million, Prime Minister Imran Khan has spent only Rs 1.2 million.
