Pakistan’s non-textile exports have increased by 1.85% in the current financial year as a result of resumption of export orders from international markets.
According to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS), exports increased to 5.49 billion in the first seven months of the current fiscal year, from July to December 2020-21.
According to the report, the non-textile sector has not yet received orders at pre-code-19 levels, but exports of leather garments, surgical instruments and engineering products have increased.
